Journey in Faith

We are now taking bookings for the 2021/22 academic year. Find out more below...

Download our new leaflet to learn more about the course here.

The course is delivered to local groups in thirty sessions of two hours.

Term 1 Exploring Faith: Sessions include an opportunity to consider our own faith journeys and an introduction to Theological Reflection.
Term 2 God’s Call and Our Response: Sessions include an introduction to the Old Testament
Term 3 Development of the Church: Sessions include an introduction to the New Testament and Church Doctrine – what we say we believe.

Running through all 3 terms will be evenings entitled Ministry, Mission and Vocation when we will consider how we discern our gifts, hearing God’s call and making our response to God.

Folders of study material will be provided. Written work (or equivalent) is not obligatory but there will be the option of completing one small project or essay each term. For those wanting to progress to further study we will ask for a least one essay during the course of the year. The total is £120 for the whole course, which can be paid in three instalments of £40 at the start of each term. Group discounts and Bursaries are available upon application. Course induction is being held on Saturday 28th September at St Martins House, Leicester and will then continue in local groups.
