Further to the announcement dated 15th March 2024 advising that The Revd Steve Sweet, Curate of The Cornerstone Benefice, has been appointed as Assistant Minister of St Bartholemew’s, Oldfield, in the Diocese of Baths and Wells, we can now confirm that Steve will begin his new parish funded role on Sunday 18th August 2024, and will be licensed by the Bishop of Ebbsfleet on Sunday 15th September 2024. Steve’s last working day in the Benefice will be Saturday 17th August 2024.

Further to the announcement dated 10th May 2024, advising that The Revd Andrew Micklethwaite has been appointed as Chaplain of Wyggestons and Trinity Almshouse Charity, and Associate Priest of Holy Apostles Leicester, we can now announce that Andrew will be licensed at Wyggestons on Friday 9th August 2024, at 3pm, by Bishop Martyn, and at Holy Apostles on Sunday 11th August 2024, at 10.30am, by Archdeacon Richard Worsfold.
