Chair of the Resources and Compliance Committee (Volunteer)

Applications are invited for the volunteer governance role of Chair of the Resources and Compliance Committee.

In May 2023, Diocesan Synod approved a new governance structure for the Diocese of Leicester. As part of this change, which will take effect from 1 August 2024, the Resources and Compliance Committee will take responsibility for ensuring that diocesan resources are used appropriately in line with the agreed vision, budgets, plans, and strategies. The committee will also ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

The first step is to identify a suitable person to chair this committee.

Alongside the ability to chair a committee with significant responsibilities like this, we’re looking for somebody with knowledge and substantial experience in a relevant field such as accountancy, banking or financial management.
