Syston Park Praise
6th September 2021The sun shone upon the people of Syston, as they came together in fellowship and prayer, during an ecumenical Songs of Praise in the Park service, recently. A ukulele band brought an upbeat, gospel flavour to the gathering, which saw more than 70 people sit outside among the flowers in the town's Central Park Sundial Garden.

God at work through Hope67
9th August 2021Faith, prayer and a significant nudge from God, has led to the creation of a new community money advice service in North West Leicestershire. Launched at the beginning of the year, Hope67 opened its metaphorical doors during the pandemic, and is helping some of the poorest and most in need members of the community in Coalville and the wider diocese.

Sunflowers bringing joy to a local community
2nd August 2021These big, bright, beautiful sunflowers started as seeds, given to the congregations of St Peter's Church in Highfields and St Philip's Church in Evington on the last Sunday in Lent. They were something to look after and something to look forward to, in what were difficult times.
