Everyday Faith is the new daily devotional app from the Church of England designed to inspire, equip and encourage you in your faith every day of the week.
This year, Leicester was one of several dioceses to partner with the Church of England 30k Project to pilot new training programmes for children and youth leaders. We are now recruiting for participants to join a second cohort in Autumn 2024.
A few days before their ordination, Rachael, Heather, Nicholas, Stuart and Cameron shared with us what it means for them to be stepping into the next chapter of their ministry.
We are delighted to report that the 2024 Petertide Ordinations in the Diocese of Leicester took place over the weekend in two joyful services at Leicester Cathedral.

A service of thanksgiving was held during choral evensong at Leicester Cathedral to mark the work of all those who serve as safeguarding coordinators in the Diocese of Leicester.

On Saturday 18 May, 11 new Associate Ministers were licensed at the annual Called Together service - a celebration and licensing of lay ministers from across the diocese, including Pastoral Assistants, Pioneers and Evangelists.
Jan Barlow was licensed and welcomed to St Paul’s Church in Oadby on Sunday 7 April, during a joyously intercultural service marking new beginnings and a commitment to shared ministry.
Following their calling to see teenagers and young adults with additional needs raised-up to serve God and their church family, a small team at Holy Trinity Church in Leicester have created a monthly, accessible service.
