Continuing Ministry Development (Lay and Ordained)

We offer a range of ways to continue your development as a leader. Please visit the calendar of events here: Click her to view our upcoming courses and events that are offered by the diocese.

Wherever possible our programme is organised collaboratively, integrating the education and training of both lay and ordained who minister within the Church. As such wherever possible courses are offered as free to all, and open to all unless specifically stated otherwise.

There is also an opportunity for coaching, more details of which can be found here.

We also offer grants for courses and events. These grants are open to all clergy and authorised lay ministers. Click here to download the application form.

We encourage all who minister in the Church to be intentional and specific in their ministerial development, and to work out our own Learning Development Plan for how you can continue to reflect, learn, and flourish in your place of ministry.

We recognise that not all  learning comes from courses, but they can be key moments in ministry development. The  clergy Ministry  Development Reviews (MDRs), and  review of Lay Ministry Working Agreements, feed into this process. To download a template for a Learning Development Plan click here.
