We remain deeply appalled by the serious criminal behaviour that led to Venessa Pinto’s conviction and our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by her actions.
In a celebration of cultural diversity and inspirational people from all times and all places, the church of All Saints with Holy Trinity in Loughborough came alive with the sights, sounds, and spices of its intercultural community last weekend.
Across the diocese, many of our churches have been praying for their local communities, and for those who don’t yet know Jesus, as part of the global initiative ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ - which runs annually from Ascension Day to Pentecost.
The Cathedral was filled with joy during the annual Called Together Service on Saturday 7 June as people came together in prayer and thanksgiving for lay ministers across the diocese.
