The Revd Canon Karen Rooms was licensed as Acting Dean of Leicester during Leicester Cathedral’s Epiphany Eucharist on Sunday, January 8.
Bishop Martyn led the worship, alongside The Reverend Canon Alison Adams, in a service held in the Great Hall of St Martins House, Leicester.
As well as her position as Acting Dean, Karen has a number of roles in the diocese, as Canon Missioner at Leicester Cathedral, the Women’s Ministry Enabler for the Diocese of Leicester, and Priest-in-Charge at St Nicholas Church, Leicester.
