In a display of unity and civic pride, many people came together for the High Sheriff of Leicestershire’s Justice Service at Leicester Cathedral recently.
The service held on 12 October was an opportunity to give thanks and show support to the judiciary, police, and other agencies involved in maintaining law and order and promoting social cohesion within the county.
An annual occasion, it is a tradition where the High Sheriff, as a representative of the Crown, gathers with court officials, emergency services, and community leaders to acknowledge their work.
Mr Stephen Bryan JP is the High Sheriff of Leicestershire for 2025-26.
The service was open to the public and attended by a wide range of officials, civic dignitaries, and community members, including a number of High Sheriffs from neighbouring counties.
