Did you know every Church of England church has a listing on AChurchNearYou.com and it’s often the first site potential visitors find when looking up your church on the internet?
As it's easy to use, easy to find, and free, many churches use AChurchNearYou as their actual webpage. It's designed to let you add services, events and your own custom pages.
Even if you use it alongside your own website, it’s helpful to make sure it's up to date, clear, and inviting. You never know who might decide to look for information about their local church - particularly during Lent and Easter!
How it works
Every church has a listing on AChurchNearYou.com, but it’s up to you how you use it.
You have two options:
- keep your listing short and simple, with a button to take people to your separate, church website
- build out your listing into a full website, hosted within AChurchNearYou.com
If you want to, within AChurchNearYou.com you can also set up a website for your multi-church benefice, suitable if you are a Team Parish, Team Ministry or similar.
