Area Deans of Framland and Goscote
The Bishop is pleased to announce The Revd Canon John Barr has extended his term as Area Dean of Framland until 22 February 2023 and, The Revd Canon Rob Gladstone has extended his term as Area Dean of Goscote until 28 February 2023.

Area Deans of the Launde Deanery
Further to our previous announcement advising that The Revd Jonathan Dowman and The Revd Alan Humphrey have been appointed as Interim Co-Area Deans of the Launde Deanery, we can now confirm that Jonathan and Alan will be commissioned by the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow, on Wednesday 19 January, during Morning Prayer at Bishops Lodge.

Further to our previous announcement, we can now confirm that The Revd Trevor ThurstonSmith will be licensed to his new role in the Diocese of Birmingham on the 23 February 2022. Trevor's final service in the Wigston Benefice will be 23 January 2022.

Further to our previous announcement advising that The Revd Ali Walton has been appointed as Associate Rector in the Benefice of Emmanuel Loughborough, we now confirm that Ali will be licensed by the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow, on Tuesday 22 March at 7.30pm at Emmanuel Loughborough.

The Bishop announces that The Revd Charlie Styles, Rector in the Benefice of Lutterworth with Cotesbach and Bitteswell, has been appointed as Chief Executive of The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. Charlie's last day in the benefice will be 31 January 2022.
