Further to the announcement dated Tuesday 6 May 2025, advising that The Venerable Richard Worsfold has been appointed as Area Dean of Salford and Leigh in the Diocese of Mancheste we can now confirm that Richard will be licensed during an early morning service in the Bishop of Manchester’s chapel on Tuesday 23 September, with a formal welcome service in the Deanery to be announced in due course.
Richard’s farewell service here in Leicester will be Monday 15 September at 5.30pm at Leicester Cathedral. All are welcome to attend.
