Further to the announcement dated 5th December 2019 advising that The Revd Dr Andrew Hartropp has been appointed as Rector of Ibstock with Heather, Andrew will be licensed by the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow, on Sunday 22nd March 2020 at 4pm at St Denys Church, Ibstock.

The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Richard (Rick) Tett, Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Eckington with Defford cum Besford in the Bredon Hill Group in the Diocese of Worcester, as Team Vicar in the Woodfield Team.

The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Jane Walker, who currently holds Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham, as Associate Priest in the Benefice of the Burrough Hill Parishes.

The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Dr Andrew Hartropp, who currently holds Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of Oxford while acting as part-time Consultant Missiologist at London City Mission, as Rector of Ibstock with Heather.

The Revd Olwen Woolcock

The Bishop announces that The Revd Olwen Woolcock, Rector of Hugglescote with Donington, Ellistown and Snibston, has been appointed as Priest in Charge of Ketton and Tinwell in the Diocese of Peterborough.


Holy Trinity with St John the Divine

The Bishop of Leicester is pleased to announce that The Revd Elaine Sutherland, currently Associate Minister of Holy Trinity with St John the Divine, Leicester, is to be Vicar. The Revd Canon John McGinley, currently Vicar of Holy Trinity with St John the Divine, Leicester, is to be Associate Vicar (Resourcing Church) on a half stipend basis. He remains Priest in Charge of Holy Apostles, and of the Emmaus Parish Team.


The Revd Bryony Wood

The Bishop announces that The Revd Bryony Wood, Team Vicar in the Benefice of Market Harborough and The Transfiguration – Little Bowden with Lubenham and Great Bowden, will be retiring with effect from Sunday 26th January 2020. Bryony's last service will be on Sunday 12th January 2020.
