The Revd Mark Carroll

The Bishop announces that The Revd Mark Carroll has moved curacy from Loughborough, All Saints with Holy Trinity to Ab Kettleby and Holwell with Asfordby (but will be ministering across the Framland deanery). This took effect on 1st October 2020.


The Revd Steven Harvey

The Bishop is pleased to announce the secondment of The Revd Steven Harvey, Associate Rector in the Benefice of Emmanuel Loughborough, to the Benefice of Broom Leys from Monday 16th November 2020 for a period of 6 months.


The Revd Canon Emma Davies

The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Canon Emma Davies as Canon Precentor and Canon Residentiary at Leicester Cathedral.


The Revd Rob Marsh

The Bishop is pleased to announce the secondment of The Revd Rob Marsh, Associate Minister in the Benefice of Desford and Kirby Muxloe, to the Benefice of Ashby-De-La-Zouch and Breedon-On-The-Hill from Thursday 12th November 2020.


The Revd Mohammad Eghtedarian - Licensing

The Revd Mohammad Eghtedarian will be licensed as Intercultural Pioneer Minister in the Oadby Great Glen Team Ministry by the Bishop of Loughborough, The Rt Revd Dr Guli Francis-Dehqani, on Sunday 6th September 2020 on Zoom.


The Revd Morna Simpson

The Bishop announces that The Revd Morna Simpson, Curate in The Holy Spirit Team Ministry, has been appointed as Rector of the Yardley Hastings Benefice in the Diocese of Peterborough. Morna's last service will be Sunday 20th September. She will be licensed to her new role on Sunday 11th October.


The Revd Claire Goode - licensing

Further to the announcement dated 6 August 2020 regarding the appointment of The Revd Claire Goode as the Chaplain at Launde Abbey. We can now confirm that Claire will be licensed by the Bishop of Loughborough, The Rt Revd Dr Guli FrancisDehqani, on Tuesday 10th November 2020 at 3pm at Launde Abbey.


The Revd Canon Cynthia Thomson

The Bishop announces that The Revd Canon Cynthia Thomson, Transition Priest in the Benefice of Hallaton and Allexton, with Horninghold, Tugby and East Norton, and Slawston, will be retiring when her licence expires on the 30th August 2020.


The Revd Canon Dr Johannes Arens

The Bishop announces the resignation of The Revd Canon Dr Johannes Arens, Canon Precentor of Leicester Cathedral, with effect from 31st August 2020. Johannes is to become Transition Priest in the Holy Spirit Team with responsibility for St. Andrew's Jarrom Street and with a focus of developing chaplaincy engagement with De Montfort University. The date of Johannes' licensing will be announced in due course.


The Revd Keith Magee

The Bishop announces that The Revd Keith Magee, Vicar in the Benefice of St Peter Braunstone Park, has been appointed as Team Rector of Dorchester and the Winterbournes in the Diocese of Salisbury. Keith's last service will be on Sunday 25th October 2020.
