Description: | Global Voices: Reading the Bible from a Global Majority Perspective
Online webinar - 7.30pm-9pm
A panel of theologians, including Bishop Guli Francis-Dehqani, will help us reflect on Scripture from a Global Majority perspective and to explore how different lenses and global voices can expand and deepen our understanding of the Bible.
Bishop Guli will be joined by Revd Mark Nam and Revd Dr Sharon Prentis. The conversation will be moderated by Revd Canon Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy, who is Leicester Diocese's BAME Mission & Ministry Enabler.
Panellists will each share how their respective culture influences their reading and understanding of Scripture. This will be followed by a conversation between the panellists and a time for Q&A.
This is a partnership between Discipleship at Leicester Cathedral and Leicester Diocese's Intercultural Worshipping Communities.
