The Bishop announces that The Revd Chris Taylor will be stepping down as Anglican Chaplain at the Loughborough University at Christmas this year, after eight years in the role.
The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Sharon Andrews, currently curate in the benefice of Glenfield and Newtown Linford, as Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Leicester St Anne, St Paul and St Augustine.
The Bishop announces that The Revd Christopher Beaumont, currently Associate Vicar at St John the Baptist Church, Clarendon Park, in the Diocese of Leicester, has been appointed as Interim Minister for Blandford Forum, in the Diocese of Salisbury.
The Bishop announces that The Revd Canon Alison Booker, Vicar in the Coplow Benefice and Area Dean of Launde, has been appointed as Archdeacon of Oakham in the Diocese of Peterborough.
Further to the announcement dated 20 August advising that The Revd Andy Giles has been appointed as Interim Associate Priest, we can confirm that Andy will be licensed by the Bishop of Leicester, The Rt Revd Martyn Snow, on Thursday 14 October at 8.30am at Bishops Lodge. The Revd Jack Wixon will also receive his license during this chapel service. Jack has had his licence extended until 30 June 2022.
The Bishop is pleased to announce The Revd Helen Bence, Associate Minister in the Benefice of the Cornerstone Team, has had her license extended until 11 September 2022.

The diocese has learned of the death of Ian Imlay MBE. Mr Imlay was a much loved member of St Nicholas Church in the city centre and was the organist there for more than 60 years. He has also played the organ at various other churches around the diocese including St Mary Magdalene in Kilby, St Peter's Church in Oadby and Leicester Cathedral.
