The Safer Recruitment & People Management guidance 2021 replaces the existing Safer Recruitment Practice Guidance 2016 and will help ensure that all those who work or volunteer with vulnerable groups are suitable for the role they will carry out.
It applies to all roles in church settings (lay or licensed, employed or volunteer), that involve substantial contact with children and/ or vulnerable adults.
The guidance is available from the online safeguarding e-manual on the Church of England website here.
