The Bishop announces the death of The Revd Peter Evans (aged 79) on 29th December 2019. Peter held Permission to Officiate in Leicester diocese from 2004 and prior to that, served his ministry in Southwark diocese.
He leaves his wife Avril, adult children Mark and Lynne and their families. A service of thanksgiving for his life (following a private family cremation) will be held on Wednesday 29th January 2020 at 1.30pm at St Mary’s Church, Stanton under Bardon.
