We are pleased to announce that The Revd Kim Ford, is to be seconded to the position of Assistant Archdeacon while retaining her current role at The Beacon Church, Hinckley (seconded from Team Vicar in the Oadby Great Glen Team Ministry).
Kim will give two days per week to the role of Assistant Archdeacon, supporting both Archdeacons Claire and Richard, and working with Assistant Archdeacon, Richard Trethewey, in all their work across the diocese.
We are sincerely grateful for Kim’s willingness to undertake this role for the next 12 months. We also express our thanks to The Beacon Church, Hinckley and the Churches of The Oadby Great Glen Team Ministry for their willingness to support Kim in this role.
Kim will be licensed by The Bishop of Leicester during morning prayer at Bishops Lodge on Tuesday 7 November.
