It is with sadness that we announce the death of The Revd Haydn Clifford Williams, aged 93, on Monday 11 August 2025.
Haydn was ordained in Leicester in 1995 and served in St Mary’s, Anstey (1995-2001) and St David’s, Broom Leys (2001-2003), before holding the Bishop’s Permission to Officiate in this diocese from 2003 until 2022.
He leaves his wife, Jill, and extended family.
Haydn’s funeral is to be held at Christ Church, Coalville on Tuesday 9 September at 1.15pm, to which all are welcome.
