The Bishop announces the death of The Revd David Cherry, aged 91, on Monday 25 July 2022. David was ordained in Ripon in 1961 and served in Derby, Oxfordshire, and Gibraltar until retiring in 2001. David held the Bishop’s Permission to Officiate in this diocese from 2001 until 2021. He leaves two daughters and a son. David’s funeral will be held in Rearsby with details to be confirmed.
