The Bishop is delighted to announce the appointment of The Revd Canon Karen Rooms, currently Acting Dean and Canon Missioner of Leicester Cathedral, and City Centre Transition Priest with responsibility for St Nicholas in The Holy Spirit Team, as Dean of Leicester.
This appointment was announced at 4.15pm on Thursday 30 November at Leicester Cathedral.
Karen will be installed as Dean of Leicester at Leicester Cathedral on Saturday 9 March 2024 (finer details to be confirmed). In order to prepare for this role, Karen will be taking a short period of rest and reflection from the 9 February until her installation date.
