The Bishop of Leicester is seeking to appoint a full-time priest to serve the Deanery of Framland as Interim Mission Enabler and the Nether Broughton, Old Dalby and West Vale group of parishes as Interim Associate Priest.
Framland Deanery is a large rural area in North East Leicestershire with many small villages surrounding the busy market town of Melton Mowbray. This three year fixed term interim role has a dual role of enabling growth of mission within the Deanery, as parishes move towards the formation of Minster Communities, and providing ordained ministry locally within the Nether Broughton, Old Dalby and West Vale group of parishes.
We seek a person who:
- is a skilled enabler of others in mission, able to mentor and encourage
- is a prayerful listener, adaptive and sensitive to context
- is willing to receive and learn from others as well as to give
- is confident in engaging with discipleship in school settings.
