2nd Dec 2012 - Through the night leading into Easter Sunday, an all night vigil of prayer, praise, fun, film, small groups and food with Bishop Tim, followed by a service of baptism (by full immersion), confirmation and renewal of baptism vows at 6am outside the Cathedral and then bacon sandwiches! 7:30pm on Saturday 30th March through to 8am on Sunday 31st March. Lay Ministries Service 2012
15th Oct 2012 - A packed cathedral saw all our lay ministries represented at the annual service to commission authorise and admit lay ministers on Sat 13th October. Among those being licensed were 10 Readers (and a further two “free transfers”(!) from other dioceses), 8 Pastoral Assistants, 3 Pioneer Ministers, 3 Evangelists, a Children and Families Officer and 3 Youth Workers. New Church Training Course Starts
29th Sep 2012 - This Saturday a new course started in Harborough to train and equip people for starting new churches. Over 50 participants took part in the Mission Shaped Ministry Course, which aims to help people grow and mature Fresh Expressions of Church.
