School children invited to Colours of Life

Sixty Church Pioneers Graduate!
11th Mar 2012 - On Saturday 10 March, around sixty people from the Church of England and Methodist Church in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire graduated from the 18 month Mission Shaped Ministry (MSM) course. MSM is designed for people involved in starting new forms of church, sometimes called Fresh Expressions. Figures show Church marriages up four percent
20th Jan 2012 - Provisional attendance figures for 2010 released – marriages up four per cent, national ‘mapping’ identifies at least 1,000 fresh expressions of church
The latest local church attendance figures from the Church of England for 2010 show that approaching 1.7 million people continue to attend Church of England services each month, and around 1.1 million attend one of the Church of England’s 16,000 churches as part of a typical week. Continue Reading

A month to major Fresh Expressions conference
26th Aug 2011 - There is just a month to go to a major day conference on new forms of Church is held in Leicester and bookings are coming in thick and fast. The conference, on Saturday 1st October at St Martin’s House, is co-hosted by The Methodist Church, The United Reformed Church and the Church of England in Leicestershire, and aims to resource, encourage and help network those interested or involved in Fresh Expressions of Church.
