Reports highlight vital work of Church Urban Fund
Two recent reports by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and UNICEF have stated that polarisation is increasing in the UK between the richest and poorest in society; that there are now areas in some of our cities where over half of all households are defined as ‘breadline poor’; and that the UK is the worst of the industrialised countries for child wellbeing
This highlights just how vital the work of Church Urban Fund is with grassroots communities - which is set out in a new Impact Report that has recently been made available.
The report shows ways that Church Urban Fund is working to tackle the deep-rooted problems that scar many communities and how CUF initiatives are making real and lasting differences in people’s lives.
