St. Luke’s Church, Gaddesby, Leicestershire, 10:30 am – 5:00 pm. “A Festival of Flowers”. The theme is ”Country Life – Yesterday and Today”. Arrangements on display by local flower clubs and guest arrangers. Admission £2.00

At All Saints Church, Thorpe Acre, Loughborough, at 6:30 p.m. Help and Healing Service, with prayer support. Come and spend some time with the God, who longs to meet you at the point of your need. Saturday 10th May
Launch of the Southern Edge Mission Partnership. Come along to the Samworth Enterprise Academy on Saturday 10th May to celebrate the launch of the Southern Edge Mission Partnership, commencing at 2:00 pm and concluding at 4:00 pm with an act of worship led by the Archdeacon of Leicester. Adults £1; children free. There will be something for all ages, including a brass band, The Young People's Choir from St James the Greater, a Gospel Choir, bouncy castle, face-painting, organised games, stalls, tombolas and ice cream stall!

The Ultimate Event at Alton Towers. In partnership with ‘Compassion UK’ and ‘Urban Saints’. This really is a BIG day out at Alton Towers, after experiencing the white-knuckle rides all day, the experience culminates in a big worship evening with Christian bands (headlining this year is “Delirious”). Friends of Launde Quiet Days: Launde Abbey Quiet Days are held monthly and are open to everyone. The outline of the day is usually as follows:- coffee & talk from 10.00 am, a short service in the Chapel and then lunch. Prayer Weekend - on the theme of 'The Lord's Prayer' at The Ecumenical Church of the Nativity, Cavendish Road, Aylestone Park. 'Prayer Weekend' on the theme of 'The Lord's Prayer'. The Church and Schoolrooms will be open on Saturday between 10.00am and 6.00 pm and on Sunday between 2.00 pm and 3.30pm.
