All pages on this site validate as XHTML and valid CSS (cascading style sheets) where possible. This site may also use CSS3 to aid presentation and at present, the use of this cannot be validated. We have undertaken appropriate measures to ensure this site is readable cross platform.

Access Keys

Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site. On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key. The primary sections of this site are defined by the following access keys:

  • 0 = Home
  • 1 = About us
  • 2 = Diocese Office
  • 3 = Shaped by God
  • 4 = Faith and Life events
  • 5 = Information
  • 6 = Privacy
  • 7 = Accessibility
  • 8 = Terms and conditions

Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the target (such as the headline of an article). Links are clearly written to make sense out of context.

All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes.

Visual Design

This site uses CSS for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
