Fundraising

last updated on: 2nd Apr 2012

Part of Andrew’s role is to support parishes raising funds to develop their ideas.
Each parish will have their own and different vision as they are all at different stages on their particular Christian journey.
In this section of the website, for those with on-going strategies, there is information on, payroll giving, and gift aid.

Please feel free to let Andrew have any comments, good and not so good, about this section of the website and also let him know if you have any information or success stories that might be useful to other parishes.

Payroll Giving
Some employers offer schemes to their employees to enable individuals to give to the charity of their choice (including churches) via a payroll giving scheme. Details can be found on the Parish Resources website on www.parishresources.org.uk/giftaid/payrollgiving.htm

Gift Aid
Gift Aid is a vital source of income to parishes, with over £68 million claimed each year. www.parishresources.org.uk/giftaid.htm offers resources to help run an effective Gift-Aid programme in your parish.

Project Funding
Many parishes are actively involved in repair, renovation or re-ordering projects and/or activities that will benefit their local communities.
‘Church Care’ www.churchcare.co.uk is intended to help you, the people involved in caring for church buildings, through offering practical advice, guidance, and links to other useful sources of advice. It is supported by Ecclesiastical Insurance Group.
