Trees in Churchyards

Advice and guidance on undertaking works to trees in churchyards and the consecrated sections of local authority cemeteries or burial grounds.

Trees, whether in a churchyard (be it open or closed) or in the consecrated part of a public cemetery are covered by regulations issued by the Chancellor (here).
