Welcome to the Shaped by God programme
Shaped by God is a key strategy for the work of the Diocese of Leicester over the next 5 years, approved by Diocesan Synod in July 2005. It sets the Mission of God firmly at the heart of the church, and encourages us to look for creative partnerships which can help us be yet more effective in sharing God’s love with the world.
Two key elements are the “nine marks of a healthy, mission-shaped church” and the formation of Mission Partnerships with others.

You can also use it to link into thinking about Fresh Expressions of church, both nationally and locally, as we develop our thinking about how we reach out to those for whom ‘church’ and ‘God’ can seem equally distant, or unrelated.
