Ten church schools contributed their skills in designing a map of the diocese featuring pictures of ten of Jesus' parables. This was brought to Leicester Cathedral on Education Sunday and was on display during Lent and Eastertide.
The schools contributing from the ten deaneries were:

THE CHURCH AS A RESOURCE FOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
The Diocesan Board of Education is delighted to promote a course being run for clergy and church leaders on Tuesday November 10th in Leicester Cathedral. Sharing the practice of our RE Adviser/The Cathedral's Education Officer, Janet Ingram will promote many ways to use your church as a resource for Religious Education.

CHRISTIAN VALUES FOR CHURCH SCHOOLS:
A new website has been launched which looks at Christian values for church schools. This reflects on values like forgiveness, justice and peace [there are fifteen in total] and firmly bases the values within our Christian heritage. Click here to access this site directly.
