Saint Paul, Leicester 23rd Apr 2012 - Further to a Scheme made by the Church Commissioners in pursuance of the Pastoral Measure 1983 on the 23rd day of June 2011 which provided that the Commissioners should sell the closed church building of Saint Paul, Leicester and the annexed land for use as offices and as a clinic and/or Healthcare Centre and consulting rooms and ancillary purposed, the Church Commissioners have now determined that the said Scheme came into effect on the 26th March 2012 (please see attached document for full details). 2. Acting Warden of Launde Abbey 23rd Apr 2012 - The Revd Canon Michael Covington is serving as Acting Warden of Launde Abbey. Michael is a long time friend and servant of Launde and will be known to many. He has previously provided priestly cover at Launde and looked after the preceding vacancy at the Abbey.
